Got questions? We've heard them all.
From first-time coating clients to seasoned car enthusiasts, the questions below cover everything Pune's car community asks us most. If yours isn't here, call us. We're always happy to talk paint.
Pune's monsoon is uniquely aggressive on car paint. Acidic rain, combined with construction runoff and the road-wash effect from heavy traffic on newly wet surfaces, deposits a cocktail of contaminants directly onto your clear coat. On unprotected paint, this causes water-mark etching, oxidation, and micro-surface pitting that no amount of washing removes.
A correctly applied graphene coating makes your paint hydrophobic: water forms tight, high-contact-angle beads and sheets off, taking contaminants with it before they can dwell and etch. PPF adds a physical self-healing membrane over the top, so even the grit thrown up by Pune's monsoon roads can't cut through to your colour coat. Installing either treatment before June means your paint enters the hardest four months of the year with maximum defence.
The PCMC and PMC have made it illegal to use pressurised water hoses for vehicle washing in many zones. NexusOne's Eco-Tech Waterless Maintenance Wash protocol was designed precisely for this context. We use a pharmaceutical-grade, high-lubricity encapsulation spray that surrounds and lifts individual dirt particles away from the paint surface, without a single litre of hose water.
Our technicians are trained in the correct multi-panel technique, using graded microfibre towels that capture and trap lifted particles without dragging abrasives across your clear coat. For clients with ceramic or graphene coatings, our waterless wash is actually safer than a conventional pressure wash, because coated surfaces release contamination far more readily. We stay compliant with municipal restrictions without compromising the quality of care your car receives.
A roadside hand wash typically uses a single dirty bucket, a hard-fibre sponge or chamois, and unfiltered municipal water. Every stroke introduces grit from the previous panel (or the previous car) directly onto your clear coat, creating the swirl-mark network visible under direct sunlight. The “clean” car you collect is often more scratched than when you dropped it off; the marks simply aren't visible in overcast lighting.
NexusOne uses individual, pH-neutral, foam-infused product applications for each panel, clean-edge microfibre for every wipe, and a documented decontamination sequence that begins before any product touches your paint. For coated or PPF-protected vehicles, we use only coating-safe maintenance sprays that preserve the hydrophobic layer rather than stripping it. The difference is the difference between cleaning a car and caring for an investment.
We specialise in high-value, performance, and luxury vehicles, primarily European and Japanese makes including Mercedes-Benz (including AMG variants), BMW (including M-series), Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Volkswagen, and premium Japanese vehicles including Toyota and Lexus. We also accept high-specification Indian vehicles, SUVs, and any vehicle whose owner genuinely cares about paint quality.
We do not operate a volume throughput model. Each booking receives dedicated bay time and a technician who stays with the vehicle throughout. If you're unsure whether your car is a fit, call us. We'll tell you honestly.
Every graphene or ceramic coating installation at NexusOne comes with a physical Warranty Card that documents the specific product applied, the batch number, your vehicle's registration, the installation date, and the applicable warranty duration (ranging from 1 year for our entry ceramic to 5 years for our Graphene Pro system).
Warranty validity requires periodic maintenance checks, typically a 6-month and 12-month health inspection where we assess coating hydrophobicity, check for any areas of delamination, and perform a top-up treatment if required. Walk-in warranty checks are also available. Your warranty is only as strong as your maintenance record; we make it easy to keep both current.
Timeline depends on the scope of work. A single-stage ceramic coating with basic prep typically takes one full working day (8–10 hours). A two-stage paint correction followed by graphene coating requires two days: one for correction and prep, one for application and cure. A full PPF installation (bonnet, bumpers, mirrors, and door cups) runs two to three days depending on vehicle complexity. A complete PPF + graphene combo on a luxury saloon or SUV typically takes three to four days.
We ask that you plan to leave your vehicle with us for the full duration; we do not rush curing. Currently we do not maintain a courtesy fleet, but we are located close to Pimple Nilakh with easy access to auto-rickshaw and cab services. For clients requiring transport arrangements, our front desk can assist. We will always give you a firm timeline at the time of booking, with no surprises.
